Here's an overview of the key policies that apply to all participants at User Interviews. Following these helps ensure a good experience for you and the researchers you work with.

Incentive policy
You'll be paid the full incentive amount after User Interviews receives confirmation from the researcher that the study was successfully completed. This can take up to 10 business days from your session date. Researchers may be paying participants in bulk, waiting on an attendance list from a colleague, or reviewing unmoderated task submissions.

Cancellation policy
We ask for at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations and reschedules to avoid a penalty. To cancel or reschedule your session, visit our Guide on canceling and rescheduling.
Late arrival policy
All participants are expected to be on time.
No-show policy
Not showing up to a scheduled session without adequate notice wastes the researcher's time and affects your standing.
Completion policy
The researcher reserves the right to withhold or offer partial payment if you don't complete your session in full. Follow the researcher's instructions and complete all required parts.
