Why am I receiving UserTesting studies?
User Interviews and UserTesting have partnered to bring you more ways to participate in research and earn incentives.
As part of this new partnership, you may now receive opportunities to participate in studies run by UserTesting customers. These are legitimate research opportunities, just like the paid studies you're used to.
Do I need to create a new account?
No—you don't need to create a UserTesting account to get started.
Depending on the study type, you may need to install a browser extension or download the UserTesting mobile app before you begin. Each study will include instructions if any setup is required.

What will I be asked to do?
It depends on the study. You might complete tasks on a website or app, answer survey questions, or share your thoughts and opinions. Depending on the study, you might also share your screen or provide verbal feedback through your microphone.
How will I be paid?
You'll receive an incentive for every study you complete. The amount varies by study and is shown before you apply. Payment is processed within 14 days.
If you have a question about an incentive, contact Support and include your Study ID so we can look into it quickly.
What if something goes wrong?
We're here to help! If you run into a problem during a study, use the Help feature in the study to report the issue. This notifies UserTesting Support directly. Learn how to use the Help feature
If your issue happens before you enter the study or after you've completed it, contact Support through User Interviews and include your Study ID so we can look into it quickly.
If you're having trouble with a recording, check out Fix recording problems before or during a UserTesting study for troubleshooting steps.
Can I opt out?
Participating in any study is always your choice. You can review each study and decide whether you'd like to apply.
