Getting approved for a study is exciting, so we know it's disappointing when the available times don't work for your schedule. If that happens, you may be able to propose times that work better for you.
If none of the available times work, select None of these times work.

If the researcher allows participants to propose new times, you can suggest up to 5 options for their consideration.

If there's no flexibility or the study is full, you'll see the message below. If that happens, we'll email you if a new spot opens up.

We encourage researchers to keep flexible availability since everyone's schedule is different. Keep in mind that there's no guarantee your proposed time will be approved. If it is, you'll be scheduled right away and receive a confirmation email.
When can I propose times?
You can propose times between 7:00 AM and 9:00 PM in the researcher's time zone, Monday through Friday, and up to 30 hours before the session. This gives the researcher enough time to review and confirm your spot.
Can I propose a time the same day?
No. You can only propose a time at least 30 hours before the session.
Can the researcher select me on the day of the session?
No. Researchers can't select you for a time within 24 hours of a session.
Will my proposed times conflict with the researcher's current sessions?
No. If a time is available to propose, the researcher doesn't have a confirmed session at that time.
What if I propose a time but I'm no longer available?
Only propose times you're sure you can commit to. If the researcher approves a time you suggested, you're expected to be available for it.
Do I have to propose 5 times?
No. You can propose up to 5 times, so if only 1 or 2 work for you, it's still worth suggesting them.
Can I propose more than 5 times?
No. The limit is 5 for now, but we'll let you know if that changes.
