You were approved for a study, but when you tried to book a session, the study was full. We know that can be frustrating. Here's why it happens.
Why can a study fill up after I'm approved?
For many studies, we invite more approved candidates than there are available spots. Some participants can't make their session, so inviting extra candidates helps researchers fill every spot. We send scheduling emails to all approved candidates at the same time, so a study can fill before everyone has responded.
Getting a scheduling email means you're approved for the study, but it doesn't reserve a spot for you. Instead, spots go to the participants who book first. If the study fills before you book, you might get a waitlist message.
How can I improve my chances of booking a spot?
- Check your inbox regularly for scheduling emails
- Book your session as soon as you get the email
